Rules

Platform rules & terms

Short version: build in public, be decent, don't spam. Need help? Contact support.

Community rules

  • Be useful. Share progress, questions and lessons — not empty self-promotion.
  • Respect people. No harassment, hate speech, threats or personal attacks.
  • No spam. Repeated identical posts, bulk DM blasts and link farms get removed.
  • Credit others. Do not post someone else's work, code or design as your own.
  • Keep it real. No fake traction, fake funding claims or impersonation.

Content that is not allowed

  • Sexual, violent or graphic content.
  • Illegal goods and services, scams, pyramid schemes or unlicensed financial advice.
  • Malware, phishing links and attempts to harvest credentials.
  • Doxxing: sharing private data about anyone without consent.

Moderation & enforcement

  • Anyone can report a post, listing or member; reports go to the moderation queue.
  • First breaches usually get a warning or a temporary mute.
  • Repeat or serious breaches lead to a temporary ban, then a permanent ban.
  • Removed content stays recoverable by our team for audits only.

Verification

  • The blue check means our team confirmed who you are — not that we endorse you.
  • Apply from Settings → Verification with links to your work or company.
  • Badges can be removed if a profile becomes misleading or changes owner.

Privacy basics

  • We store only what the app needs: account details, your posts and your activity.
  • We never sell your data and never post on your behalf.
  • Ask us to delete your account from Support and we remove your data.

Terms of use

  • You own your content; you grant Seedly the right to display it inside the platform.
  • Posting limits: 5,000 characters, 10 images and 3 videos per post.
  • The service is provided as-is; we may change features and these rules over time.
  • Deals made between members are between those members — Seedly is not a party to them.
